At a morning press conference, Speaker of the House elect John Boehner said “I believe that the healthcare bill enacted by the current Congress will kill jobs in America, ruin the best healthcare system in the world and bankrupt our country. That means we have to do everything we can to try to repeal this bill and replace it with common sense reforms that will bring down the cost of health insurance.” There seems to be no ambiguity in that statement.
The question now looms, will the healthcare reform bill be totally scrapped or will the 2000+ pages just be revamped to try to make something functional out of it. We eagerly wait to see.
