While  it was exciting to see the formation of Google Health, made with all good intentions ( free to all those that participated), it is even more tragic to see it come to an end.

Because the medical community has yet to incorporate personal health records into the electronic health system (and in many cases, resisted having one) Google felt that the underutilized program needed to go. Unfortunately it is a great idea and perhaps premature with the prevailing thoughts and desires.

Microsoft HealthVault and the personal health record supplied and stored by Mayo Clinic is still available.
For how long is anyone’s guess!
