Q. Is there a difference between telehealth and videoconferencing?

A. Videoconferencing and telehealth are NOT the same thing although many people confuse the two as being one. For this we refer to Deloitte who performs medical studies.  They note:

“The vast majority of eVisits are likely to be more functional and focus on capturing ventolin vendita online patient information through forms, questionnaires and photos, rather than through direct interaction with a physician.”

Telehealth options often include phone, secure email and texting consultations as opposed to face-to-face encounters.
